How can we help?
Short answers to the questions we hear most. If you're still stuck, we're an email away.
How do I sync across devices?
Syncing is optional. Open Settings → Account and sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Sign in with the same account on your other devices and your routines, tasks, and history back up and stay in sync automatically. If you'd rather keep everything on one device, just don't sign in — Cadence works fully offline.
Is my data private?
Yes. Cadence is local-first with no tracking, no ads, and no third-party analytics, and your data is never sold. If you don't sign in, nothing leaves your device. If you do, we store only your email, a random user ID, and your content — solely to sync it — protected by per-account access controls and sent over HTTPS. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all of your synced data from our servers. Any data still stored locally on a device stays on that device until you delete the app.
Does it work offline?
Completely. Cadence is built to run fully offline — no account or internet connection required. Signing in only adds an optional private backup that syncs across your devices when you're online.
How do streaks and progress work?
Progress is shown as calm rings that fill as you complete your day. They're meant to encourage momentum, not punish a missed day — if you skip one, you simply pick the rhythm back up. You can also set a custom start of day (for example 4am) so late-night habits still count toward the right day.
